RTF & Other Grass Varieties

The location of a site will dictate the type of grasses that are appropriate for a certain project. Site use also dictates the type of grass. Some grasses are more tolerant to high traffic, salt, dry and/or humid conditions. The staff at RESI has decades of experience in matching grass species to particular climates and uses, worldwide, and in developing specific solutions.

One example of a new turf grass blend that is showing some very positive traits is RTF (Rhizomatous Tall Fescue). This is a patented grass that has rhizome that is uncommon for tall fescue. Its aids in the recovery and blended "filling-in" of bare spots through its unique underground root system. It also has significant drought tolerance, good color, and is insect and disease resistant. It can flourish in the EPIC system.
