Press Release
MINNEAPOLIS – In a move designed to further strengthen its ability to address
and improve the impact of construction on the environment, Blaine, MN-based
Glenn Rehbein Excavating, Inc. has launched Rehbein Environmental Solutions,
Inc. (RESI). The new company provides a comprehensive range of services that
enable clients to design and build construction projects that result in
significant and enduring functional, environmental and economic benefits.
Rehbein Environmental Solutions, Inc. has offices in Minnesota, Arizona, New
Mexico and Nevada.
"Our goal is to provide solutions to the environmental issues of the 21st
century through innovative and sustainable technology and practices," said Mark
Rehbein, founder and CEO. Rehbein grew up in his father's construction business
and has spent his entire working life involved in a broad spectrum of large
construction and remediation projects, seeing first-hand their impact on the
environment.
Formation of RESI augments the well-established Rehbein reputation as a total
service provider for the excavation, construction, remediation and turf
industries. "While RESI was born out of innovative technology," Rehbein said,
"it is powered by our passion to make a difference in the way that construction
is done forever." Ê
Rehbein Environmental Solutions, Inc. offers consulting, engineering,
remediation, research and development, training and construction services for
both public and private clients. Engineers, scientists and analysts form expert
teams that develop and implement customized Total Solutions for each job.
Typical projects include multi-unit housing developments, public infrastructure,
large athletic fields, golf courses, commercial buildings and landscapes, and
green roofs. The company is an acclaimed leader in water management, through
use of highly specialized products that include the EPIC Chamber (formerly ECS),
Netlon products, and concrete pavers. RESI's integrated approach enables
clients to improve their LEED building ratings. The LEED (Leadership in Energy
and Environmental Design) program identifies building materials and practices
that emphasize recycling and sustainability and recognizes the use of these
materials and practices through a detailed Green Building Rating System. The
program was developed and is administered by the US Green Building Council.
"For us, this is not a trend or a clever differentiation strategy," said Mark
Rehbein. "It's a responsibility." In fact, the new company's emphasis on
innovation and best practices represents a continuation of his father's
long-standing business philosophy. Glenn Rehbein founded his excavating company
in 1956, and since then the family-owned business has grown to more than 170
employees, several of whom are themselves second-generation. "We have some of
the most experienced people in the industry," Rehbein noted, "and they are
backed up by a high quality, well-maintained fleet of equipment." The company's
resume includes completed projects throughout the Midwest and in Texas and
Louisiana.
Since its incorporation in April 2006, Rehbein Environmental Solutions, Inc. has
already become a sought-after resource and partner for architects and
developers, regulators and end-user customers committed to using the latest
environmental technologies.
